About The Summit
The summit spans four days and centers around leadership activities, contextual problem-solving, and group collaboration to generate inventive solutions to some of the most urgent sustainability challenges of our era. As part of the summit, participants will undertake a hands-on project with measurable outcomes in the field of sustainability. The curriculum aims to provide a comprehensive and immersive experience for high school students to cultivate their leadership abilities, and connect with other like-minded individuals looking to start their sustainable journey. Alongside the core curriculum, Harvard college students will provide a glimpse into college life, offer insights and tips on college admissions and applications, and share their personal leadership experiences and stories.
About Harvard Undergraduate Clean Energy Group
‘Harvard Undergraduate Clean Energy Group is an entirely student- run organization working at the frontlines of climate action to accelerate the clean energy transition and environmental leadership. Mentors from HUCEG engage in discussions of climate change, collaborate with industries on innovative projects, and work towards making sustainability a more accessible topic in education.’

- Introduction to the Harvard Sustainability Change Maker Program
- Workshop: “Climate Change 101: Sustainability as an Interdisciplinary Practice”
- Interactive discussion led by HUCEG Mentors
Lunch and networking with Harvard Students
Afternoon session (1 PM - 4 PM):
- Team building activities and ice-breaking exercises
- Workshop: “Sustainable Innovation: Identifying Green Solutions”
- Students brainstorm pitch topics and begin research
- Students share ideas, provide feedback, and form groups

- Workshop: “Environmental Leadership”
- Pitching & Presentation drills
- Students work on their sustainable innovation
