Larisa is a senior at Harvard studying neuroscience, with interests at the intersection of neuroscience, psychology, and education. She currently conducts research at the Valera Lab within Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Before coming to the US for college, Larisa spent two years traveling within Nepal teaching and performing spoken word poetry. These formative years of her life heavily influenced her interest in teaching. Besides these, she enjoys bullet journaling, origami, and hoarding washi tapes.
